Broker Day raises US$1 million

This year, Broker Day raised over US$500,000 for Seeing is Believing, before matching.
Marking World Health Day on 7 April, over 50 brokers worldwide donated their day’s commission. For every dollar donated, Standard Chartered will match it, doubling the impact. After the Bank’s matching, a total of US$1 million was raised.
This is the third consecutive year that World Health Day has been marked with Broker Day. The last two years combined raised over US$900,000 after the Banks matching.
What this means to us
Such a successful day means that even more people can be helped like Akosua. Having cataract surgery free of charge, Akosua was given back her freedom.
