Many people in Cambodia are unaware that the majority of blindness is avoidable.

This is not surprising as it is estimated there are less than 30 optometrists to serve a population of 14 million. Unfortunately, for those who do know that their blindness might be curable, are unable to afford the surgery that they so desperately need.
