Hello folks!!
Mangesh Chumun, Wendy Crockford, Micheal King, Katherine Morley, Tom Offord, Roshni Patel, Abdul Quayum, Mark Robinson, Jamie Summerton & Josephine Thompson are Team Alico UK and we are running the 5K Great City Race 2010 in London Square Mile on 15th July 2010.
This year’s nominated charity is Seeing is Believing, a major public-private initiative to help eradicate avoidable blindness through the funding of projects that give access to eye care for underprivileged people. Seeing is Believing has raised over US$17 million and impacted over 8 million people to date, including over 2.5 million who have benefited from sight restorations and 4 million supplied with vital preventive medicine. The latest commitment is to invest a further US$20 million by 2014 to provide comprehensive and sustainable eye care services to 20 million people in impoverished urban areas around the globe.
So please dig deep in those pockets and drawers to sponsor us for this worthy cause. You can access the programme’s website: www.seeingisbelieving.org.uk for more information on how your donations can make a difference.
